A really good value phone. Excellent screen and cameras. Well worth stretching to the Pro model if you can afford it: just look at the spec and see that neither storage nor RAM is skimped, so it's pretty quick. Xiaomi do use a slightly adapted version of Android but it's generally not too eccentric. A few of the included apps gave initial annoyance but were quickly removed.

One of the best mid range phones yet
Good to excellent in most areas. Strong camera, good battery, decent speakers, and good software/privacy - even if you can't delete all of the dreaded Google apps. Anyway, Miui 13 is certainly nothing to be scared of.
