Series 4 of the Lena Dunham created Comedy Drama. Season 4 begins with Hannah (Lena Dunham) leaving New York City to attend the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, and though she initially finds the change of pace and new faces refreshing, she starts to wonder if being an author is all it's cracked up to be. Back in Brooklyn, Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) graduates from college eager to get a job, but learns that landing one is easier said than done; music and romance is an unpredictable mix for Marnie (Allison Williams) and Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach); Jessa (Jemima Kirke) clashes with Beedie's daughter over her care; Ray (Alex Karpovsky) mulls a foray into politics to fix a neighborhood nuisance; and Adam (Adam Driver) drops a bomb on Hannah on her eventual return to the East Coast. Only two episodes in...
...So, it's difficult to say how 'entertaining' and 'engaging' it is! At the moment it's ok; how long Hannah will stay in Iowa remains to be seen, though the party scene with Elijah was fun. Generally speaking, I have to admit to finding Elijah, Ray and Adam far more interesting and funny than most of the other characters.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
