I discovered music by Kozeluch sometime ago; he is actually quoted as a contemporary of Mozart.
In this respect I would say his music is Mozartian in as much that it is full of melody and generally joyful to listen to, and I would highly recommend anyone who likes the Romantic period of music, to give his music a go.
I can assure anyone they will not be disappointed.
These piano concerto's are I would suggest, sublime, with a lovely recording and performance, and are a very welcome addition to my collection.
I only hope Hyperion will follow up with Kozeluch's Piano Concerto's Nos. 2,3 and 4..
