  • Does anyone listen anymore?

There is so little interest in music of our forefathers. So when we try to reverse this apparent trend and produce something noble and deep it comes as quite a shock. The general opinion being that the world we left behind us is somehow not worth exploring.- this recording attempts to redress the age of clay in which we wallow. I cannot force people to love and admire this era of music but rather keep it to myself. I doubt we can carry on like this. I doubt anybody else cares. The most important thing is that this music speaks to me in the kind of way no other music can, except through the many compositions of his contemporaries. Namely, Capricornus, Biber, Buxtehude, Caldara and Buchner, to name but a few. Keep up the good work, your efforts are not in vain.
