Long awaited new Journey album: ok but slightly disappointing overall.
Journey are a US melodic rock band with a long history and several personnel changes s Long the way. Freedom: first released in 2022,is their first studio album in 11 years.they retain their excellent lead vocalist Arnel Penida and their AOR style of music is maintained on Freedom. It's a bit predictable and formulaic,but a couple of tracks sound a lot heavier than the norm.'produced' this time by Narada Michael Walden - he of a soul/disco background.but no such influences on Freedom. A good collection of 15 songs in total.nothing that give you the wow factor,but a good to average album on the whole - with disappointing flaws - in places. PS: Good digi-pak style sleeve packaging,with informative booklet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
