  • A good general book on PI and Clin negligence

In comparison with previous editions this has a little more content as would be expected and what I was looking for was an update on the Bolam test to reflect the vitally important Montgomery decision from the Supreme Court in 2015. I was disappointed not to find a more comprehensive exposition on this case as to how it had ousted Bolam and brought in the concept of an increased patient autonomy from the old-fashioned medical paternalism of 'doctor knows best'. However a good general text book on the subject though perhaps a little to basic for advanced clinical negligence and medicolegal lawyers and consultants.
