I gave a supermarket own brand a try and it didn't clean my dishes properly and the crystals remained on the dishes. Switched back to Finish and normal service resumed. Cleans well and leaves little to no food residue. The only time it fails to remove residue is from heavily caked in dishes which should have been rinsed better before putting in the dishwasher.
