A high quality natural sound
Beautifully constructed headphones and very comfortable to wear for extended periods. The treble is extended but very sweet, no sign of grittiness or coarseness. The bass is stronger than high class open backed headphones, but is in no way overpowering like on some well known brands. Superb headphones with detachable cables.
Fabulous detail and weight in the sound quality. I wish the ear cups were more oval than round. I usually buy open headphones but these don't sound like a traditional closed model. There is barely any sound leakage even at loud volume levels. Not the cheapest headphones but among the best
Very comfortable, although some of the materials feel slightly low rent given the SRP build quality is superb. Sound is outstanding, bass is controlled but full and rich, mid range is detailed and not recessed and highs are bright without being unbalanced. Overall the sound is hugely engaging, being warm and rich, it feels like the sound has been tuned with a shallow "v". If you play with EQ and a powerful headphone amp you can generate some frightening bass before these start to lose control. Sound is wonderfully detailed and with a very wide soundstage for closed back headphones. They come with a rather nice carry case and an excellent detachable cable. Isolation not great. 5 year warranty is excellent. These maybe pricey but they are also superb, with a feeling of genuine quality and substance. Best headphones.
Wow what a set of can,s. these are. I never ever thought a set of headphones could sound so good. I know they are top end price wise but I never thought they would be so much better than my senn,y 595,s. Although they are classed as portable I use them on a arcam system and a ruark r4 mklll and they just blow my mind weather it's Eric bibb, keb mo, Joe bonamassa or the new sounds from the Icelandic group kaleo. Outstanding
The audio quality is impeccable. The headphones thrive when it comes to the highs and mids nonetheless, there's enough bass. There's a lot of clarity and detail. This is especially noticeable when paired with a portable dac/amp... it works flawlessly. The only issue I have is that there are small sound leakages, but that's expected if you are listening to high volumes. Although these headphones are expensive, I'd definitely recommend for 'audiophiles'.
