High quality phone with great keyboard
My BB Curve was my favourite phone of all time back when apps were still well supported. I've struggled along with various Android phones throughout the years but the onscreen keyboards have been a source of great annoyance, and the battery life pretty short. The Keyone is... it's like coming home, honestly. The keyboard is the best BB keyboard I've had the pleasure of using so far, and while some integration details are lacking, overall the phone is a great performer - and I can type without having to stare at the keyboard, and with zero typos! It's a joy to type rather than an annoyance. The extra BB security features and the robustness they have incorporated into Android are welcome too, and the battery life is great - I can often charge my phone every other night rather than every night. Bad personal experience..not a generic issue.
After spending a day setting if up and transferring data from my Note 4 the Keyone worked for 1 day before it powered off and went into a Power Up loop whereby it would not start up again. Had to return it with all my personal details on it in the hope that when it's reflashed the data would be erased. I'm sure that it is a rare event but regardless it tarnished my opinion and I'm now happy with a Note 8.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Blackberry not Samsung or apple
I bought this handset for the qwerty keyboard and let me add it is a high class piece of kit but I wish I had bought a Samsung instead for online media-i simply do not need many of the features .......so great phone if you are a banker or high pressure sales guy but for me not so necessary. Superb Phone
A great phone to use and work on. Fast and efficient with good battery life. The only issues I've found ironically is the Android aspect of it. It's a shame that BlackBerry couldn't continue their own OS as it had some great features. Reliable elegant and great features.
I have used Blackberry phones for over 10 years now. this is the best one yet. Security is top notch, looks great and the battery last for about 5 days... Need I say anymore, it's great. Great if you are a Blackberry fan, old school and like a hard keyboard
Had an old Blackberry Bold which I liked for the hard querty keyboard but got tired of its limitations including being unable to decipher emojis! The Key one (Android) is perfect for me as it retains the hard keyboard and allows me to have all the other options expected from a smart phone. Blackberry Key One - nice phone
I'm old school and wanted a phone with a real keypad, not the fiddly touch screen that seems to always mis-type using my fat-fingers. The Key One fits the bill. I've used Blackberry phones before, so the keypad is a familiar layout. The Android 7.1 operating system means that modern apps work (unlike the apps which are rather dated on the old Blackberry Torch device that I had. So far, battery life is good, though I am not a game player or video watcher, just e-mail, internet, phone, calculations and sat-nav usage for the most part. Ok but design could be a bit better
