Dr Mercola spells out exactly why glucose-producing foods are not healthy and explains why eating good quality fats protects you from disease. Unfortunately, Dr Mercola is not a vegetarian/vegan, but we can still learn from him and look for vegan alternatives to some of the foods suggested. In fact finding protein is not actually too much of a problem, as eating too much protein can lead to cancer. If you want to hear the latest about how it all works, do read and re-read this book!
