Unfortunately this was chosen for our book club. It's not so much the condescending and patronising tone of the book that got me, but the absolute egocentricity, self aggrandisement and narcissism of the writer. She talks to the reader as if they were six, and it really does seem to be all about just how wonderful she and her introverted superpower are. If you have even a droplet of understanding about social interactions this book will teach you nothing and is simply not worth it. How it sold two million copies is beyond me!
