If you have a passion for astrophysics or Just starting out, this book is a fantastic addition to your arsenal. It reads as smooth as a neutron star’s surface and is packed full of easy-to-understand physics terms and ideas that will blow your mind away, like a grammatical supernova. Neil deGrasse Tyson is the perfect author and has done an exquisite job of condensing the huge world of astrophysics into a fantastic, readable book. From the start you can feel Tyson has put his carbon based heart and 4th dimensional soul into this work. From chapter one to the final pages, the voice of the New York God will echo through your head as you discover your origins and potential future. Astrophysics for People in a Hurry is an outstanding creation and definitely deserves a special place on anyone’s bookshelf. All that is left is to hence forth and acquire your copy, and along the way: may your journey be full of wonder and adventure.

Ok, it is labelled as an e-book right at the end of the description, for those not savvy on the internet you will be duped into buying something you do not want. I'm sorry this unfortunate circumstance has happened, maybe clearer labelling will provide a solution. Thanks, enjoy my money. P.s what a price for an internet link, ridiculous.

Well worth buying.
I bought this as a gift for a teenager with an fairly advanced interest in astronomy and hopes of working in astrophysics . He read it, pronounced it a good book and passed it onto his brother. Who despite being younger , read it from cover to cover. I have no ldea of the content as l haven't read it myself but clearly it was well received by two teenage space enthusiasts!

It's indeed for people in a hurry, but I'm still reading it, calmingly ... ;) it's a very good book by an even better communicator ! simple and straightforward words makes this an excellent base for a conversation with friends for instance. also, leaves the seed for curiosity deep inside one's mind and thoughts ! =) I truly recommend this book !
