This book is very well laid out and there are plenty of exercises for the beginner. There is a great deal of information in the book which will take some time to work through. As a beginner I found some of the chord shapes almost impossible, though the book assures me that they will come with practice. I hope that is true. There is plenty of narrative and explanation to clarify the theory. Well worth the money.
