The ultimate adventure in mystery, horror, and pulp style action
At first I wasn't too sure about whether to get Pulp Cthulhu as I always preferred the 1920's setting of the main Call of Cthulhu game, however having taken the chance on 1930's themed Pulp I was amazed at how good it was. The rules expand upon the 7th edition Call of Cthulhu rule book to provide further grittier and more survivable characters, with expanded pulp style investigator occupations, details on the 1930's setting, investigator organisations, amazing and inspiring artwork, notes on how to run pulp style games, creating pulp style characters, villains, and NPC's, four substantial scenarios, and so much more! The production quality of the book is amazing and clearly of the high standard that Chaosium presents in all their products. I confess, I seriously underestimated how good Pulp Cthulhu would be. Get it.
