  • Engrossing, thrilling and excellent red herrings!

It is now 1655. In Black Friars old church a man is found dead! Dressed in black Dominican robes dating a hundred years ago he has been killed with a short, sharp knife and walled up alive behind a wall. on discovering who he was, what he was going to do and what he was doing this Damian Seeker is increasingly aware of a conspiracy against Oliver Cromwell and the Puritan movement. There is a spy in the organisation, a murderer and people who are not what they seem! As time goes back he discovers all the facts, reveals the conspiracies, saves Oliver Cromwell and punishes all of his enemies. There are some excellent red herrings, twists and turns throughout! It was well worth reading! There are other books in this series if you, the reader, like this book. Look them up, order them and read them for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

  • Good easy read.

Enjoyable historical fiction but needs more historical fact to be compelling.
