Lovely book.
I really loved this book. Its quite unusual description of the lessons learned by a spinal surgeon who 'dies' whilst suffering a kayak accident - underwear for 30 minutes, and then resuscitated. She talks about the visions she witnessed whilst not breathing and the effects this has had on her life. many will doubt the veracity of the reports but I found them compelling and full of compassion. Extremely well-written for someone whose background is as a surgeon not author. She has written one previous book but this one is much more detailed and three-dimensional than the previous one which is a more factual, dryer account of the Near Death Experience (NDE).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
