Penniless and orphaned, Jemima flees to the remote Isle of Skye, where she takes up a job at a school for girls. Here, she finds herself tormented by the mystery of what drove her to run away from her home. Then Jemima receives a box of Frozen Charlotte dolls and she begins to remember - a seance with the dolls, a violent argument with her step-father and the dreadful fire that destroyed their home. The arrival of the dolls also triggers a series of strange happenings. As the 'accidents' reach fever pitch, culminating in the death of one of the girls and a governess, can Jemima stop the demonic spirits that's possessing the dolls?

A great read for young and old alike!
A brilliant read! Purchased for my 12 year old daughter who enjoyed the first book, (Frozen Charlotte), so much that she just had to have the 2nd one. Really is a gripping book which sparks the imagination with it's creepy content. This was bought at a really good price - the best I could find in fact and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Deliciously creepy
After reading Alex Bell's 'The Haunting' which I found to be a creepy, well told ghost story I then purchased both 'Frozen Charlotte' and 'Charlotte Says' and I was not disapointed. It's rare to find a story that genuinely makes the hairs stand up on your arms and neck and these books do that perfectly.
