So Far So Good
Finally decided to buy a decent pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones after yet another flight with two hours of screaming babies. Arrived smartly packed in own case with new clean headband and ear pads as advertised. I like this model as it has its own rechargeable lithium battery in a neat little clip in section of the headphones which is so light you'd never notice when wearing them. The mains charger has a US plug but included a US to UK adapter small enough to fit in the case. The also included Reytid Bluetooth adapter took a little working out. Finding the instructions online there's supposed to be lights to tell you when it's on or off, when it's charging or in Bluetooth pairing mode. In practice however, on this one anyway, these were almost imperceptible and I could only tell the state of the unit when plugged into the headphones with both units switched on, when you could hear its voice prompts. A standard USB to micro puzzled me for a while but eventually found it was for charging this unit although no indication could be seen of when it's fully charged. Once charged it worked perfectly except sadly it would not connect to my old iPod Touch as Apple told me the technology on the version 4.2 iPod was too old but connected to my iPhone 5s perfectly. Altogether very satisfied with the headphones and am looking forward to some peace and noise cancelling quiet on my next flight, despite the inevitable child kicking the back of my seat out of boredom!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Bose QC3 Bagain Prices
They be old now but the QC3 are still a great headphone and can be got at bargain prices. The sound is powerful and yet not thumping base. The base is balanced but would like the base go lower. Then there is Noise canceling which is amazing and blocks out most noise. Much better than expected - superb Bose quality.
Excellent headphones, they cancel external noise really well. I used them on a flight and it made watching a film a comfortable experience. I replaced the original ear pads for less than £5 as they were quite worn and it seemed more hygienic anyway for a second hand set.
