    Nostalgia Overload

A nostalgic mooch through better times. Over the years I must have had around three full sets of Freak Brothers comics and a full set of Fat Freddie's Cat - most of which 'walked' while living in a shared house, Proving the truth of what I was told back in the day: that if you lent out Freak Brothers comics, they would rarely come back! Now I feel the urge to go buy another set!

  • Most critical review

Really only interesting as a collectors piece.

Not much of it and generally a bit disappointing. History of the comic was interesting. The pages of just artwork less so. Few stories. However, that is not the problem of the seller. Would recommend it, but only as a collector's piece, not a great publication.

  • A must have

Can't believe it's been fifty years! I expected the book to have more pages for the 50th Anniversary but I still love it! A must have for any Freak Brothers fans! Some new content included plus a couple of pages of Freak Brothers collectibles. Well worth it!

So my parents turned me on to the furry freak brothers, dad's an og hippy like. Bought them each a copy of this for Christmas to remind them they're old... I mean... To show my appreciation for their taste in comix :)

  • A good 2 hour read. But not worth reading again

Not enough Shelton stories. It’s a bit thrown together

  • Great Historical Retrospective

The best part was the insert w/ Gilbert Shelton's signature. But it's a great retrospective of the underground comic movement and the FFB's place in that. A lot of hidden insights.

  • Fab.

Every bit as anarchic as I remember and the artwork is good too.

I never expected anything new from The FF Bros, so it was very welcome.
