Great monitor! Out of the box, has great settings!

Would have gotten 5 stars if the package came undamaged and if there was a better shipping option for free. Monitor is 144hz as advertised and has a really cool feature of a headset port. (I personally will never use the headset port though because I like the settings I have for my microphone and headset via their application, but very handy if you just want to plug and play.) The color out of the box is perfect! I haven't tested any settings as of yet because the current settings are perfect for me. I haven't had any issues with blue light after hours of use consecutively which I am glad about! I have not tried to OC the monitor past 144hz, so if you plan to, do it at your own risk! The monitor came with no visible issues but, the one thing I'm very concerned about is the stand that connects to the back of the monitor can slide out if you're not careful. I plan to travel with it very soon. Money well spent though in my opinion. WARNING: 144hz is only supported in 1080p on Display port cables. The monitor comes with an HDMI high speed cable only, so don't expect to save a few dollars and not buy a display port cable!

    Bit disappointed

I ordered this monitor since I finally wanted to get something that was 144hz. I didn't mind that was refurbished since most refurbs need to be almost similar standards as the new product. I also knew I needed to buy a high speed display port cable so there were no issues. It said the monitor would arrive between March 16th and March 23rd. It arrived at my doorstep on March 26th. I didn't mind it was late, but I was at least expecting it to be on time. The next thing I noticed was 2 large puncture holes in the box (of which I don't believe were from refurbforless but from the shipping company, thanks fedex). When I started to pull the monitor out of the box, I heard a click, only to discover that the plastic casing at the top of the monitor was not fully attached or closed. This was the first thing that I didn't like already. When I pulled it fully out, I grabbed the bottom or base of the monitor/screen and once again it clicked or cracked. This time it would not lock in, but looked and feeled like it was pulled off, and now is curved outward, same goes with the right side of the monitor. From what was described in the product description, and I quote,"Monitor Manufacturer Refurbished- Some monitors have minor scratches on frame/and or base but none". This is neither since there are actually no scratches on the frame or base. Another problem I have is that along the bottom, right, and top part of the frames while the monitor is displayed, there is color bleed or light bleed(photo will show what I mean). I only affects me when in my home screen which is all black, but goes away in chrome or a game, but it shouldn't be there at all. Lastly, it took me ages to try and get it to display 144hz. After I had it set, the games would not play at that, but were still stuck at 60. I got it twice to display at 144hz. The first time, the screen freaked out and some of it would display, some of it wouldn't with patches of lines. The other time was normal after leaving it sit in those settings over night. But days after, games would not display at 144hz, and yes, v-sync was off. The monitor will say it is in the setting, but the games won't get over 60, and these are games that were playing at 130 fps the time it did display. I know this is quite long, but I seem to have lost the draw while many others have won and are pleased with their monitors. I am disappointed with what I was given and will most likely be sending it back. Seems $165.00 was too good to be true.

  • HP Omen Display

I have two of these, purchased it because my set up is designed around its existing specs. Good monitor great anti glare. Buttons stop working eventually and feels cheap. For the price new, you can get a better monitor

  • Ordered 2 times, disappointed 2 times

First order had a stuck red pixel really close to the middle of the screen. I returned it Second order came in with the bezzel not clicked in all the way but that was an easy fix and had a physical abnormality on the stand but wasn't a big deal. However, the second one had a defect not many people would notice. It had major frame skipping at 144 hz. Even lowering it to 130 hz still showed frame skipping. This results in a jittery image instead of a smooth image. I don't know how much of this speaks on this seller and how much it speaks about HP but this is definitely some bogus quality.

  • Solid bur BIG PROBLEM

I purchased this monitor expecting great 144 Hz monitor all my friends had told me about only to find that this monitor does not include a Display port cable which is default with any and this especially this 144 Hz monitor. Without it I now must go out and buy my own display port cable which is a major let down for an otherwise awesome value.

  • Great monitor

I bought this monitor because i've been stuck with a 60hz one. I switched to this and the 144hz has been totally worth it. The monitor frame was a little snapped out from the shipping but i just pushed the peices together and they clicked into place. Overall, a pretty good buy

  • HP Omen 25 Monitor

Monitor came quickly but on back of monitor where stand connects part of the plastic was busted making it not being able to lock into place, Guessing happened while being shipped.

  • Great for my teenage

Received the monitor with the screen body coming apart. Once I snapped it all back together, it seems great for my teenager playing games. It's a bit flimsy, but for the price, that's acceptable.

  • Decent

I have the same monitor brand new from Best Buy and the Display is a different color with both on the same settings, like maybe it was replaced with a cheaper display? Not sure. Not the same as my other monitor which sits right next to this one, kind of triggering.
