Great System
I bought two of these cameras and plan to add more. The image quality is good...not great on zoom, but clear and you can see what's going on easily. The only downfall to this is the battery life, it's not nearly what it's stated to be...i've gotten roughly 2 weeks of battery life. I purchased 16 rechargable batteries, though, so changing them out really isn't a big deal. I imagine the six months they claim to get are dependent on how much traffic you have and I leave mine on during the day so when kids come home from school there can be a lot of traffic in and out of the house. Overall, though, this is a very simple system to set up, picture quality is good and the wireless aspect is flawless. It also has a great wide angle view.....it can cover a surprisingly large area with little effort.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The camera continuously goes "off line" and customer service says it is my internet. No, my internet is top quality and runs at 250mgps. The issue is when it goes off line it has to be manually reset which doesn't help security if you happen to be on vacation 200 miles away. Often resetting the camera doesn't work so one has to reset the base station. I have found doing that creates other problems - like making other cameras go off line. I have 9 cameras, and definitely would not recommend them to others. Also one has to replace the very expensive batteries too often making the cost higher.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

A very good system which has no wires
This is an amazingly simple system to set up and use. You can schedule times to record simply and control length of video. It is easy to position and relocate cameras to flex with changes in your needs. I have the system and would not trade it for another. I recommend that you purchase rechargeable batteries and have spares on hand so its simple to keep up. I have cameras inside and outside and they work very well and have night vision. I 've had my Arlo camera set now for about a month .It has been a very easy to use and set up .The picture quality is very clear and the app that links it to my smart devices is really nice .The motion detection works great ,altho it can get a bit annoying during busy daytime activity ..Other than that ,it is still a great system and a good value . Cameras are of good quality ( 8/10 ) and hassle free to install with good a wi fi connection and no other electrical connections or wiring needed (10/10) Night vision is decent ( 6/10) The app good have more options but otherwise also ok (5/10). I've had mine over 3 years and if left alone just turning them off and on and not checking every hour on the hour battery life is decent as well (7/10) i juts added 2 more and I believe these were refurbished and appear to record more glitchy (5/10) . I would recommend paying a little more and not getting any refurbished . My overall experience with these arlo cameras has been above average im happy with the product. battery cost to much!! and night vision not all that if you dont have extra lighting.
Its very good camera all around, no hassle with wires you can place them any were you want with its base very smart, great pixs and video , just the price on battery's and night vision not good with out extra lighting but that pretty much goes for any night vision inferred cameras, I am very happy with my cameras they do the job, just lower the sensitivity and recording setting and your battery will last 1 to half a month.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

great add on to the arlo system. I have 5 cams now with free 7 days recording. the only problem is that sometimes cam doesn't connected right away when you want to view them. takes twice or thrice to connect. This camera is easy to install and the instruction is so simple that all you have to do is follow the 3 simple steps and you are on. I was so impressed I bought the whole Arlo camera set from another web site. I have the camera around my house and I like the remote login and the ability to view every action that is present. DIY System
This is a 100% wireless system, and the most simple to use. I have one camera, outside ( appox ) 70 feet from base and no problems at all. The pictures are clear. Setup is fast and easy.
