Bad wire insulation choice.
The item is well put together, and there are no problems with the electrical things. In fact it fits perfectly with the headsets. But they chose a weird insulation for the wiring. It's the strange textured material rather than a smooth wire. When the wire moves across any item of clothing or anything it creates vibrations that can be heard in the headphones. As long as you don't move the wire at all you're fine. If the company replaced the wire with a smooth insulation I would give this item a 5/5 star.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fits and functions perfectly with Bose QC15
This cable for Bose QC-15 headphones works perfectly with iPhones, including XR, that have a Lightning jack. The switches for volume and pause on the cable work exactly as an original OEM product for standard phone jacks, as far as I can tell. The headphone jack end fits perfectly as an OEM cable does, and even has the high/low impedance switch just like the original. Perfect fit
The cord is quite different from original Bose cord in that it seems to be fabric rather than plastic. It is quite flexible because of that. Not sure though if it will be as durable.
