I regard myself as reasonably good at diy, and after looking at advice on the internet on how to replace the battery I started the task. I found it easy to get the old one out, but not so easy to put the new one in. Quality battery
If your keyfob only works occasionally from short distances this is what you need. I measured the voltage on the old battery and it stated 3v but the current available from it was next to nothing. Either use de-solder pump or use solder braid to remove all the solder from the original battery then re-solder in the replacement.
