The old version was unstable and I had to put feet on it the new one got the message and has improved with feet to stabilise The big drawback is if it shows the sign EEE then there is now reversing it and no longer works WHY ?

Great product. Well made. The only instruction for battery installation is "ensure battery is inserted correctly". It doesnt say what is correct and as it will fit in either way up it was guess work and got stuck. For your reference - it goes in smooth shiny side facing up.
