Clever and practical way to store a tertiary blaster
weighs a little less than a stock Stryfe with the blaster in and is almost exactly as long as a Stryfe, so be wary when putting it on small/medium blasters, as your handling can easily suffer if you don't have one hand on the stock. the stock itself comes with a belt clip and sling attachment point, making it easy to store on a pocket or using a sling to quickly slip it off of a blaster without having to take the time to store it in a pocket or backpack. the blaster that comes in the stock is a fairly longer reshell of the NERF Double Strike, a 2-shot single-fire pistol that has a hammer-action firing mechanism (similar to the NERF Hammershot), making one-handed firing easy. it is relatively secure in the stock and cannot fall out if it is simply held upside down, and can slide in and out of the stock smoothly. it also has an intelligent air restrictor, meaning it detects which barrel you put a dart in if you only load a single dart and will always prioritize the barrel with a dart in it. the blaster also has a tactical rail on it, which can allow you to mount ammo holders or scopes onto it after taking it out of the stock, and with enough ammo can easily allow it to be a functioning sidearm instead of a tertiary emergency blaster. the blaster may have a chance to fall out of the stock if you're climbing and happen to have enough upwards/downwards momentum for it to slide/fall out, but it should be relatively easy to keep it under control by having it point upwards when you sling your primary blaster into a default position or simply by slightly pressing it up against your shoulder as you ascend/descend. overall, an extremely competent attachment that can only be 1-upped by a theoretical stock that could hold a larger secondary blaster like a Disruptor or Hammershot or a small primary like a stockless Sledgefire or a Stryfe without compromising the sleek design or making it weigh over 2-3 times more than it already does. the only reason not to use it would be if the design of the stock makes you uncomfortable or you prefer style over practicality.

Stock up!
Bad jokes aside, this thing is fantastic. The stock is comfortable for adults, fits everything I tried well, and feels very solid for a Nerf product. If you lack a Nerf rifle it fits, it can be clipped on a belt or pocket and used as a holster FROM THE FUTURE. Clip is not removable, and is sort of a mixed point for me. Only downside I found is that by its nature it is heavy for a Nerf product. I am adding it to a Retaliator, and balancing it with model car weights on the front. Far from a deal breaker, but this may matter to some. The pistol inside is brilliant, and packs more punch than expected. One hand operation is excellent.
