Although it was cheaper than some others-it is nicely designed and compact. Have only used it once, but it worked ok on potato slices-however, they were very dry, so will need a little spray oil next time. An air fryer works well for me because it gives me an opportunity to vary the food I eat, and the way it is cooked. I have found that fresh food causes more waste than frozen products and this is now how my food is stored. The air fryer does have some drawbacks for me such as holes too large in the bottom plate, and capacity as food is best fried by spreading on the base which may eventually mean buying a larger capacity fryer - but the method works.Verified purchase: Yes

This air fryer makes short work of items that you usually heat an ordinary oven. You don't have to wait for the oven to get to temperature thus saving time and energy. Fried chicken, fish and chips take around 20 minutes or less from cold. Power being only around a kilowatt you save money. When the timer stops the cooking the food will be kept warm a few minutes until you put it on the plate.
