Beautiful build quality and lovely design - everything about this screams quality.
The low environmental impacts are a big plus:
1) it's metal so recycles at end of life.
2) it uses replaceable batteries so you can choose rechargeable batteries or batteries that can themselves be recycled.
3) it doesn't have pointless charging cables or plugs or even a Bluetooth dongle you don't need.
The keys feel good and will map properly to Linux as well as Windows (I'm using Ubuntu 20 with no hassles).
Connection and set up was easy - all I had to do was switch it on and it worked straight away with no extra drivers.
Disadvantages: It goes to sleep when not used for a few minutes. When you type again it has a lag on the Bluetooth connection which means it doesn't send the first few keystrokes. A little bit annoying having to retype half a sentence due to the lag. This is a problem with most Bluetooth keyboards though so not specific to this model.
It's a really nice keyboard with excellent typing feel. Pretty quiet too, that's why I bought it actually. I'm loving it! I wish it was UK layout but it's not a dealbreaker.
Beautiful design, very sleek. Microsoft have nailed it with these surface products, which i think are far more attractive than Apple.
Sounds great to touch, just want to do more typing so i can use it more.
