Used this product for many years. This product and its sister product Hammerite spray under seal are quite effective.
I give this product a bit of a twist. Firstly I use the Hammerite underseal spray with three light coats and then two or three coats of the Hammerite stone chip sealer. Works Fine and gives a nice solid coat. For areas that need that extra bit of protection i use Zinc 182 grey primer for a base coat and follow up with the Hammerite Products ...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does what it says on the tin
Decided to use this on the front grille of my 4x4 as wanted to go for the black rather than chrome trim look. Also wanted a paint strong enough to withstand stone chips hitting the grille etc. The paint was very easy to apply in even coats and did not run or drip, even when doing the tricky fin areas of the grill. The end result was perfect and exactly what I was looking for.
