Good for the price
This is not quiet. It's not raucously noisy but it definitely is not quiet. When in use overnight, I have to wear earplugs & can still hear it through them. It Works
I was disappointed with this fan as I bought it because it was a big name brand and have had a good experience in the past with Daewoo products. Unfortunately, it is not very sturdy and although it works OK, the general construction does not fill one with confidence. The low height of the fan, even at maximum extension seems a lot less than others and I would question the usefulness of such a low range of adjustment. In it's favour, the fan does work quietly and produces an adequate volume of air. The diameter of the fan was less than expected and in keeping with the minimalist engineering the power chord is very short and of minimal diameter. Generally, I think it's OK but I believe I paid a premium price because of the Daewoo name, and if you buy this fan for less than £12, you won't be disappointed, because that's about what it's worth.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Settings seem off
The fan is good and definitely gets the job done but I feel the setting one is too powerful. Deleting one feels like setting 3 on my old fan, maybe it's because of the size. Daewoo Pedestal Fan.
I.m pleased with this fan as it has several good qualities. It is quiet. It ioscillates as well as being static. It was easy to assemble. ( I am a woman who is 70+ ) It is mobile. It has different speeds with easy press buttons to make alteration. It is lightweight, but not too light. I used the fan on the landing in the house, as it was upstairs at night that was particulrly warm, during the heatwave. It worked well on low speed, & made for comfortable sleeping. Finally, it was a good price, & now make your own decision about it being a good buy.
