Great charger. We love it so far. Some unanswered questions regarding absorb.
This is a good charger. I wanted the MPPT but couldnt afford it. I am happy with the unit as it charges the batteries and maintains them fine. However the Absorb mode seems to never end, I have clouds coming in and out and it seems like the Absorb mode restarts if dipped down by a clouds even for a moment. This causes the batteries to bubble pretty badly, I have let the bank charging for 3 days and it never went to Float mode. The manual says nothing about this situation. Overall we woud recommend this as a less expensive alternative to the MPPT.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
