Disappointing
Unfortunately, while these speakers appear to be well made and are top-of-the-line 4'' Pioneer speakers, they perform just the same as any other cheap 4'' speaker would. I bought these to replace the rear shelf speakers of an BMW E90. The Head Unit is a Pioneer MVH-S510BT. With it, the stock 1-way speakers perform way better in terms of bass reproduction (well, as much as possible for a 4'' speaker). Stocks also have better midrange and vocals sound deeper and clearer. The biggest surprise to me was that these 3-way pioneers offered absolutely no change in treble levels. This is not to say that they are bad, but just how good the stock 1-way BMW speakers are. I've returned the stock and will be selling those. Disappointing. Stop making flashy and colorful designs with screaming marketing and start optimizing performance, Pioneer and all others.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
