I want to protect my screen from scratches (that can happen when some hard dust/sand gets to my pocket) and from cracking if I accidentally drop the phone on the screen. I hoped this product would satisfy my needs. Well, I guess it would protect the screen well but I was unsatisfied with the look. 1) Vertical dimensions It seems that the protector does not have right vertical dimensions because when I aligned the hole for the camera perfectly, the hole for the fingerprint reader not aligned properly and a part of the fingerprint reader was covered by the edge of the screen protector. If I wanted the screen protector to cover neither the camera nor the fingerprint reader I had to place so that it visually looked misaligned. Simply put, the hole for the camera had distinguishably bigger distance from the camera on left and right than on bottom. And the same goes for the fingerprint reader. The dimensions just did not look right. 2) Horizontal dimensions Well, the descriptions says: "[...] our screen protectors are deliberately smaller in design and do not cover 100% of the display in this particular case. If this screen protector completely covers the display surface, it would detach itself from the display at the edge areas after a short time." So I knew that the protector will not cover the screen edge-to-edge but I hoped that it would at least sufficiently cover the part that displays the image. However this was not the case. I could not stand that the image got distorted on the edges because when viewed from a slight angle, I saw part of the image through the protector, part of it aside of the protector and part of it scattered through the edge of the protector. And this was on the both sides of the screen. It was not badly aligned. The protector is just too small to cover whole visible image from the display when viewed from angles. And when I write "viewed from angles" I don't mean that I tilted the phone. I looked perpendicularly on the screen but since human eyes have some distance between, both eyes look from slight angle. And this was enough to make me take the protector off after few hours because I could not stand it. I did not buy a phone with quality 120 Hz screen only to make the experience awful by a screen protector. 3) The protector does not stick on the edges Again, the description says: "[...] our screen protectors are deliberately smaller in design and do not cover 100% of the display in this particular case. If this screen protector completely covers the display surface, it would detach itself from the display at the edge areas after a short time." However even though the screen protector was too small (see point 2) it still detached itself on the edges and whatever I did I was not able to make it stick. I will look for a different product. Probably one of those that have black or white border and cover the whole front part of the phone. However I read in reviews of few such products that those non-transparent borders are too wide and they cover part of the image. Why? Why can't somebody design it properly? (By the way, the dust particles visible on the photos are on the top of the protector. It was not easy but I was able to put the protector on and not catch any visible dust particles under it. It took me few tries because when I managed to not catch any dust under it, the protector was misaligned so I had to take it off and then when I aligned it well, I saw a dust particle under it so I had to take it off again. After approximately five repetitions, I managed both, no dust under and good alignment.)Read full review
