No more stooping and hunching over in the tent!
I was looking for a 6-person tent that my husband and I could stand up in and that would keep us dry when it rains. We're not tall people (5'3" and 5'7" respectively) so that didn't seem like such a tall order (excuse the pun). The Coleman Instant Cabin Tent was one of the few I found that didn't cost a fortune and that met my two criteria based on the product description and on other reviews. I used it for the first time this past weekend. It's on the heavy side, but not impossibly so. It was as easy to put up as they say. While I could've done it by myself, my sister was with me and wanted to help out. Once I got it out of the carrying case and the box, we had that thing up in, like, one minute, maybe less -- presto! And I was able to stand up easily with plenty of head room to spare. It feels much bigger than other 6-person tents we've used over the years. It didn't rain so I can't speak to if it stays dry, but it's a sturdy tent and I'm hoping for the best. Also, there are good sized windows on all four sides with zipper covers so you can open them up for fresh air or zipper them close for privacy and warmth. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because it is impossible to get it back into the carrying case. I ended up using 3 bungee cords to keep it folded up: one at the top, one in the middle and the 3rd at the bottom which worked fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight
The first one purchased had a small hole in the side of the tent. We were told to put a patch on it that came with the tent. I put three coats of water repellent on the whole tent.. Still, if it came a shower there was a mist that blew into your face when inside. The company told me the tent is not water proof but "water resistant". Coleman instant pop-up in 60 seconds
I have multiple tents and once I tried this Coleman 6 person instant pop-up in 60 seconds now is my preferred camping tent, is easy to open and mount, it took me one minute, prior i watched a video on YouTube, easy to dismount and put it in the bag, i like that the ceiling is high enough for a 6 feet tall person can walk inside with no problem, it has better ventilation that other camping tents and the material is very resistant against rain, the solid poles gives more stability against winds compared to the fiber glass poles that comes with other tents.

Easy to setup tent
I don't know about 60 seconds, but it was very easy to setup. I purchased the extra accessory top cover & rain proofing spray to to be extra careful. The first family camping event was nice. Very nice tent
The tent sets up very easy. It takes a little longer than 60 seconds but is really easy to do. The tent is tight. I woke up the first morning and had condensation on the inside walls from my breath. I've never owned a tent that would do that. Had a light rain one night and didn't have any leaks. The seams are well sewn. The poles extend and retract easily. The first time I used the tent I spent seven nights in it and did not have any problems with it at all. I was camping with eight other guys on our annual fishing trip. Each of us bring our own tent. They all checked it out and really liked the tent too. I would buy this tent again and have recommended it to my friends. The tent does not come with the rain fly. A TENT MOSES WOULD LOVE CROSSING THE DESSERT.
Great price for a fine quality tent. I set the tent up the first time myself in five minutes. Excellent design for easy assembly by one person. The tent is 9’0” x 10’0” so 90 square feet of interior floor is spacious and comfortable. I have a bed height, twin size air bed, a folding camp chair, a large plastic storage box container and a small suitcase all fit in the tent with plenty of space to spare for comfortable living. The first night I had the tent set up, the rain poured down for a couple of hours. I was sleeping comfortably inside the tent high and dry. The tent at 25 pounds is not light enough for back pack camping, but pitched in a permanent campsite it is ideal. I love this fine tent and highly recommend it. Coleman has been in the outdoor business a very long time and know how to build great value into their products.

Good family tent
Have used it quite a bit has worked well for weekend camping trips,super easy to setup take down, plenty of room for 3 or 4 people would be tight fit for 6 .we put 2 queen air mattress in it still have room for our stuff,had it in several rains hasn't leaked but I always put a hammock rain fly over my tents to have porch out front. Good tent for weekend car camping.
