Not like they used to be
I have used this model Contico trunk for years and have been very happy with them for international travel, but this new one is not the same. The picture on eBay shows the old style latch and that was a sturdier latch. The first time I tried to latch the new style latch it fell apart. It also feels a like the plastic is a little thinner. On the other hand this trunk has the continuous steel rod for the hinge which is a plus. This new style trunk has wheels and I don't know how durable they would be because both were broken during shipment. It didn't really bother me because I didn't plan to use them and removing them meant more that I could pack in the trunk and meet the airline weight restriction. They would be handy though if you are needing to move the trunk around. All in all this is still the best trunk for my purpose and it is reasonably priced.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great locker but with mediocre latches
The locker came very quickly. It is a very good size and seems to be pretty durable with the exception of the latches. The latches do not seem to line up properly with the lid and do not stay latched down. For me that is not an issue and the real value for me is that the locker is a very good size and is quite durable. Design Flaws Limit Full Spacing Abilities
Due to the design of the product it is not a full rectangle design making the inside of the storage area very small. In addition, the closure on the top has a cut out design not allowing you to use the hollow area of the top fully.
