Gorgeous little ratchet

40 Tooth not 72 Ratchet
I kept this ratchet when it arrived as I couldn’t find mine and needed to use this one immediately even though it wasn’t as described. It appears to be a 2nd as there is an indentation in the metal that occurred prior to chrome plating but more importantly it is not a 72 tooth ratchet as stated, it only has 40, a cheaper item altogether and not what I’d expect from “Hilka”.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Tool for the price.
This 3/8" ratchet wrench is nicely made and unlike many other brands, they have kept the handle uniform so that you can slip a tube over it to gain extra torque. My only critisism is that the freeness of the mechanism isn't uniform in it's circular motion. This means that one part of the 360 degrees of movement has more resistance than the rest. Not a problem in most cases, except where the nut or bolt is very loose. I have bought Hilka tools before and they seem to be very tough, but not terribly accurate in the way they are machined.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
