A product I should have purchased years ago
Good long and strong handle enabling a good swing to break up the top soil. Good strong connection between shaft and blade. No fitting required, just slides on for a good fit. Good. Better than a spade for many jobs
It's more or less as expected. The handle is not as thick as those I've used abroad, but has taken being used on rock hard ground with no problem so far. Generally, I find these implements much more useful than a spade. They need less effort, although this one is quite heavy, so does need effort to swing upwards, or use in a more controlled fashion, to take off surface weeds say. With a spade you have to lever and lift to move soil, but with these you pull, which is easier for me. Ideal fro digging holes and making ridges.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Store in a dry place!
