Is it a gps or a fitness tracker?
nice looking unit with an excellent fit all velcro strap. In watch mode it has a very large readout and great for people with eyesight problems. Backlight is awesome as is the quality of the led screen. Now for the cons - I have several Garmin units being a former teacher of gps systems I will say this is the worst of them and on par with the gps 72 from decades ago. It has no mapping capabilities as stated instead it calls user generated routes a map. The wireless capabilities are a complete waste of time. The garmin mobile app is nothing but a fitness tracker and nothing to do with gps exploration, and to utilise these functions you have to purchase add ons if you can find them. Waypoint naming is all but useless and unless you have a hard copy printout of a pre planned waypoint list, then usage becomes extremely confusing. The control buttons are the next issue, if you do not have fingernails forget it. The unit needs to be removed from your wrist to do anything. I purchased 2 of these units for exploration purposes at $370 each. In summary as a fitness device along with optional extras it may work. As a navigation device for offroad work virtually useless. As a watch - fantastic my opinion go and buy a hand held unit these things are a ripoff.
