Easy to carry when you want to look at things fairly near
I wanted something fairly light to carry on my walks mainly to see those birds you walk past closer up. It does that well and whilst it does have some weight that is fine. It's bag hangs ok on my belt. The scope feels nicely solid and the focus wheel is great for my size right hand. Lens caps good and remains attached and side hand strap good. Simple to put in the back pack and let the kids use. Remember this is a small scope with small objective lens so it is not a proper bird scope so do not expect that. Will work at distance but again it is a small scope. AN ISSUE WITH ALL SMALL SCOPES - you need steady hand/s, and have to keep steady when using - especially when looking at distance. Again the longer you are trying to view the more this is an issue. I bought a ebay 2nd hand mono telescopic camera stick (1/4" thread) which stopped this hassle, but is something else to carry. My eye height meant a stick longer than the average ones to hit my eye level. PHONE attachment does work, but i'm nervous about attaching my phone to the scope, be very easy to drop the lot, but that said my s10 did take photos which were ok on my only testVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
