Bought for Power Cuts
I get regular power cuts where I live in the sticks and have a 2KW Deisel pull start at moment. Bought this as I am gettin older and wanted Electric Start. Not used it properly yet but did a test run and it ran all the house, Freezer, Central Heating and pump, TV, broadband and boiled a normal sized Kettle all at the same time. I have a Frequency meter conneted to it and it reads 54Hz from no load to 3/4 load all my TVs ect work at 50 - 60 HZ so all ok. Not shure what would happen if something was used that was sensitive at 50 Hz. All in all verry happy with it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent for the price
We use this generator on an irregular basis to light our clubhouse out in the wilds of Somerset. We were quoted £6600 for an electrical connection, so this was the cheaper option. It isn't very economic on fuel, but the secret is only to use it for the time you require it and turn it off immediately when not required. Build quality is reasonable, easy to start once the battery is charged up (put it on a battery charger overnight before fitting) , but the legs are not very substantial and will buckle if you move it around a lot. Excellent generator for demanding applications.
Excellent 6500W peak generator! Pulls 2200W Watt, twin piston, air compressor (induction load!) with absolute ease - without even a moment of alternator hesitation Item is heavy and noisy - as expected, however exhaust pipe outlet is exactly 22mm in diameter, so.. you can be creative with some standard 22mm copper pipes (for extra water muffler, etc) Outlets are 32Amp (230V and 115V), therefore the smaller, typical round 16Amp plugs do not fit - you will need to buy the slighlty larger diameter plugs for your devices. Manual choke (automatic choke would be a bonus), but you can switch it off, literary 5 seconds after the gennie start. Make sure you will buy some good quality oil 10W40 straight away and change it regularly. Generator is quite thirsty on fuel. Comes with the charged battery. Starts with ease. Brilliant for price
Arrived quick.Easy to assemble.Really heavy! put it in van and is staying there! Really good bit of kit for the money. bit juicy on fuel. The noise is acceptable no need for ear defenders.
