  • Excellent volume pedal

M Audio EX-P is a very accurate and quiet pedal. It has a polarity switch on the underside of the unit making it compatible with all keyboard types. Construction is good, albeit from tough plastic. Perfect for use in my studio. Operation is smooth with a threshold adjustment to set your own minimum volume. Highly recommended. I can't believe such an excellent pedal is so competively priced. Well done M Audio ✅

  • Just don't stamp on it!

This is made of plastic, so if you're very heavy footed, if that's even a thing, avoid this as you will break it. On the other hand if you need a swell pedal for very little money then it works perfectly. I bought one to control a Nord C1 organ which it does perfectly. It also works as a volume controller through a mother keyboard as a way of programming volume into a DAW for gentle swell of string pads etc. Treated sensibly, it should last well, but don't expect to stamp on it every day for years. If that's your need, buy something made of metal.

  • M Audio EXP Expression pedal-good budget unit.

A good functional peddle, competitively priced. The only problem I would envisage with this unit is that it's plastic and therefore not as durable or robust as a metal one; however, for someone like me who uses an expression pedal sparingly with my Boss SYB5 bass synthesizer then it's ideal. Horses for courses.

  • Cheap and cheerful. Functionally perfect.

There's a lot of snobbery about musical accessories, at 17 quid or so delivered, this pedal is brilliant. It does what it is supposed to do perfectly well, while it may appear tacky and cheap - I put almost my entire weight on it (over 12 stone) and it didn't break. For someone who is on the road with their music (that's not me by the way), I would imagine having one of these and three spare ones would be a better bet than having just one unjustifiably expensive one with a revered brand name on it. Good bit of kit.

  • Amazing value

Awesome bit of kit!, currently running an irig blueboard through jam up xt on the iPad, this little pedal has now opened up many wah opportunities for me !

  • Excellent Swell / Volume / Variable Effects Pedal

This good value and reliable. The angle movement is very comfortable, correct for a pedal that sits on the ground. NB this is an expression pedal ie variable position, typically used to vary an effect like volume etc. On an organ it would be called a Swell Pedal. It not a simple on/off sustain pedal ! It is a potentiometer, like a foot-operated slider or volume knob, with cable and 3 way "stereo type" 1/4" jack plug. There is a choice of 2 settings for the connections to the jack, selected by a switch underneath.

  • A Brilliant Bargain!

I find this control pedal a really great product and sturdy enough for regular use. Although some other control pedals have the same pot' values, for some reason I find the M Audio gives more control and is much smoother to use than other more expensive ones I have tried. I currently have 6, 5 to control Electro Harmonix pedals and another for The Ultra Nova. I am about to order more. Don't hesitate, even at twice this price they would be a bargain.

  • Great value!

I'm a guitarist and was looking for an expression pedal to work with a Marshall pedal, I thought I'd take a gamble on the cheapest option, half expecting it to not be compatible as most other pedals were £50+. It worked! Easy to use, good smooth action. The only flaw is that it's lightweight plastic and easily kicked about, (feels the same weight as my DS-1), this is only a minor issue and easily solved though. Pedal uses TSR I think and claims to be universal for all devices with an expression input.
