Great for USB port add on power option not so great
The added ports a definate plus for any system, does work well, Although the power option for the card would be better if connection was capable of actually connecting to the motherboards USB pin connector other than sata or romex connection, noticeable on system boot up and has caused some interference during bootup. perfect for my xps 600
Must Read: was a little hesitant at first but after installing it and running the software I found it was an easy item to install. then to put it to the test, when I hooked up my flash drive that had 7 gb OS on it. it was able to transfer files from that to my external hard drive at rates of almost 100MB/s only wish they had an expansion port on this card to make it a 6 port usb 3.0 because the 5 port one would have had the ports too close together rendering it impossible to plug 2 or more flash drives next to each other.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

High functioning four port USB 3.0 expansion card at a low price and super easy to install
I needed more USB ports and this card gave me four more USB 3.0 ports. I appreciate that they included the power feed cables since I use my ports for charging devices along with data transfers between external drive enclosures and thumb drives. Great Product works perfect on my VR Headset. It also fits in any available PCI-E Slot 1x 4x 8x or 16x great Compatibility with Windows 10.
I originally got this card as my onboard usb3.0 port was not working well with my Samsung Odessey VR Headset as i was having Tracking issues but this card Eliminated all of those issues thanks to the dedicated Controller Bus on the board. Absolutely a wonderful product i love it.

Powered directly off PSU and works well
This is powered off the power supply directly via a plug and includes some converters (molex to SATA and such). I think this addon card is a must for anyone using power hungry USB devices like joysticks, racing wheels or VR headsets + associated sensors. Installation is trivial and the device is small enough that even mounting it right in front of a GTX 1080 TI's fan (dual fan card) isn't a problem.
