Excellent against green algae!
Our 190L fish tank was clearer within a week, and absolutely spotless within 2 weeks. After combating the green algae pest for a couple of months, we were at our wits end. I researched other options apart chemicals ones (they didnt really help at all), and found the UV sterilizer lamp got great reviews. Does Exactly what it says on the Box!
Had one of these UV Sterilizers a few years back and cant rate this product high enough! Had a green Algae build up and knew from previous ownership that this was exactly what was needed to resolve this issue! Within 3 Days of setting up (which is so easy) all green Algae had gone and a couple of water changes later it is now Crystal Clear! The only Negative side of this product is that the replacement Uv Bulb cost only slightly less than the complete unit and seeing as the electro-magnet driven impeller (fan) had also gone cheaper to buy a complete unit! Fish r fun uv sterelizer
I had a bacteria bloom in my tropical fish tank,it was so cloudy you could just about see the fish,I tried 50 % water changes,added another filter & even tried seachem water clarity treatment but nothing worked,so I purchased a fish r fun internal uv sterilizer,i fitted it in the tank on Wednesday & by Friday it was crystal clear,excellent piece of kit which I would highly recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A great close to 5 star items with small improvments would be awsome 5 stars
Very pleased indeed here's my thoughts, 1 exellent quality really really well built 2 exellent price for what this does it's well priced for what you get. Little downsides, 1/ cables arnt long enough if you want to hide box in cabinet, as not everyone wants controll stuff hanging off of the side of there tank. 2/ 19mm pipe fitting extreamly hard to get hold of if you want to add pipe work to uv to give options on pump placement as I couldn't have pump placed as in pictures this was a problem a kinder standardised aquatic pipe fitting size would have made this item awsome and hence for these two reasons only 4* instead of 5* but don't let this put you off of purchasing To make awsome 5* 1/ I had cables lengthened so controll box and very bright led is now in cupboard. 2/ please put in a straight length of pipe and a couple more elbows to allow for multi positioning of pump as the one elbow was to restrictive for me and three aquatic retailers did not have any straight or elbows of the size supplied in stock making any adaptation extreamly difficultVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Very Best UV Aquarium Steriliser on the Market today
I Had persistent white cloudy water & tried numerous water changes, gravel sifting & external filter cleaning with little improvement. Fitted the UV 24W Steriliser Pump in just 5 minutes and within 3 days could Not believe the amazing results. Perfect Crystal clear water which continues to surprise everyone. Lasts a long time.
I have had one of these in my tank for years as I used to have problems with algae blooms which left the tank water green and me unable to see the fish. Since using this the water has always been crystal clear. Fantastic Sterilizer
I have problems with chemicals and products used to clean my aquarium bring me up in a rash. By using this UV sterilizer I no longer have this problem ... if it's good for me then it must be fantastic for my fish!!! The water is crystal clear and their colours pop. Thoroughly recommend.

A must buy amazing
I had a really annoying cloudy water issue in my 400 litre tank setup and have the Fx6 filter and always do a water change weekly and started doing some research online about my issue and found out about product so gave it a try and within two hours my water was crystal clear and has been ever since, one tip is to run it on a timer me personally run it for only four hours a day this is to improve the bulb life as these units are sealed not replaceable bulbs so will hopefully last at least a year, trust me you wont regret buying this, fish are healthier water is amazing and gets rid of bad bacteria.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
