Lightweight and easy to use
I bought it to use when I am using our log splitter.This face shield is made for protecting the face and I don't feel so vulnerable any more to chunks of wood flying off towards me. The visor is strong and easily fitted and the adjustable strap even fits my small head. The whole thing is well made and strong. A great product and excellent value for money. The item i received was slightly different to the picture. I've had better visors for the same price, this is just a good quality Bob The Builder play visor. The visor itself pops off as the latches don't quite latch well enough and i'm missing the central latch as shown in the picture. We saw up a lot of wood

Flip top face shield - lightweight and reasonable for the job
The face shield could do with a better visor - i.e., a one piece perspex type which is more solid and has no banding around the edges, and therefore does not require bending into place, as this one does. This visor IS ok for the money and for average protection, and in that regard is pretty good value for money. User instructions advising the owner to bend the visor to shape prior to fixing onto the helmet would have been helpful and maybe a note to advise on the need to remove film from both sides.
