parrot minikit
sets up quickly and easily first time. it has a strange pronunciation of keywords sometimes but does seem to improve with time.I found it stops working every now and again for no good reason, then it has to be set up again. It might only take a minute to do but it's a pain and shouldn't be necessary. Still you get what you pay for and it is a third of the price of a full blown parrot system. For the price, 5 stars. for the ease of use, 5 stars. for build quality, 5 starts. for dropping out without warning 3 stars. all round I give it four stars. This I cannot recommend enough! Yes the LCD Parrots are better as they are connected to the car speakers and you obviously get the LCD display but that takes time and possibly more money to set up, as far as cost and simplicity with the MiniKit, I am very happy how easy and effective the mini is to use and set up. Open the box, turn it on, Link the bluetooth and clip it on your visor and your away to go without needing to read any instructions, you wont make the most of its functions that way but you can certainly do that in a rush! good bit of kit
This is the second I've bought - the first was for the wifes car. For ease of use, I can't fault it, I first used one when I was a HGV driver and these were the ones supplied by my employer, so got to know them then, just charge it up and connect, let it sync with the phone(s), set the 'magic words' for both incoming and outgoing calls and away it goes - no need for taking a hand off the wheel or eyes off the road. Being able to have several phones linked is handy, so that we can just leave them in the car, switch on when getting in (cars are kept too close to the house to leave them on), and have the knowledge that they'll connect with our phones within seconds. I'm fairly sure that I haven't found how to access everything they can do, even in the 5 or so years of using them (still trying to find out if it'll allow my Sat Nav to sync, giving a better quality sound for that)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
