Paper Piecing is the method used for putting together the letters and the description of the basic technique is well-explained and illustrated. A consideration of how to work upper and lower case letters is also included, and this is very helpful. The projects are fun and modern and are divided into different categories - celebration, communication, inspiration and decoration. The basic instructions on how to go about lettering in quilts is very clear and easily taken outside the book for your own projects.
