Newer should be better
Obviously, newer controllers, like this 'S' series, are nicer than previous versions, though this model is prone to have stick drift. Thankfully they can be cleaned inside if you have the right screwdriver. This model seems grippier to hold, not as smooth/slippery as earlier versions. Buttons are responsive, and triggers are much better and more responsive than previous versions too. Circle D-pad allows more directional options than the tradition '+' plus sign.Verified purchase: Yes
