You cant find this ANYWHERE! Ive been looking for years. This has been on my watch list forever because I was hoping for a bluray release. I couldnt wait any longer. This production is amazing! I had such a thing for William Katt. Chita, Ben, the whole cast is amazing and Bob Fosse is one of my idols so its the complete package for me. Speaking of the package. What happened, Stephen Schwartz?
Ever since the 70s I"'ve wondered about the musical Pippin and if it was good because I love musicals and now I finally know. I was really disappointed because the story is weak and the characters are strange. I couldn"t identify with any one of them. The only good things in the musical are some of the songs and the dancing. The best two songs are the first two and after that it"s downhill from there. Ben Vereen and William Katt were fun and brought a sense of Broadway to the show but overall the DVD was not worth buying and the picture quality wasn"t anything special.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pippin is still great!
Saw this play on broadway many years ago with the original cast. Loved it then and still love it now. Great story and musical score not to mention the acting.
