"Honest" Joe Peters Takes A Hard Fall For Love & Money
Here's a very good, film noir movie starring tough guy, Charles McGraw and foxy, Joan Dixon. McGraw is an insurance cop and Joan is a scheming girl looking for a rich guy. He falls hard for the girl but his cop salary is not enough for this gold-digging femme fatale. McGraw makes a deal with a local mobster to rob a train of $1,250,000. It looks good for a while but things start to unravel very quickly. He finds out, the hard way, that crime does not pay. I like this movie very much and can recommend it to all fans of classic, Hollywood.
