Safety at Sea - Icom M94DE Handheld VHF with AIS and DSC
The Icom M94DE Handheld VHF with AIS and DSC is top quality with the features required for marine safety, it is easy to use with the soft key menus. It has GPS as standard further enhancing the DSC message in the case of an emergency. In addition the radios GPS allows you to save up to 50 waypoints enabling you to return to favourite or important places. The AIS system lets you see AIS transmitting vessels and set up a user defined safety radius. The display is large and clear and the keys easy to operate, the emergency DSC Distress button is under a clearly marked red flap on the rear of the radio. Battery life is good with up to 10 hours of operation under normal industry standard conditions. Essential piece of quality equipment at sea.
