Statham different role play "Amazing ".

Hi, I heard about Mr Statham in a new movie but not his usual type of movie, a bit unsure of him in this role, but I was so wrong in my doubts. As I was really blown away with The Meg!!!. He was brilliant and so was the film. "AMAZING ".

    Entertaining!

I love anything to do with sharks and I also enjoy watching Jason Statham films, so it was inevitable that I would get to see this one. Quite entertaining although there were one or two scenes and details that had obviously been copied from Jaws. It certainly kept us watching the whole time.

  • Not the normal Statham fare

Big underwater action movie. Some very good special effects, some not so much. If you're a fan of shark movies like Jaws and Deep blue sea then this is definitely for you. If you look and listen there are a few Jaws references here which will add to your enjoyment!

  • By far the best 'shark threat' movie I've ever seen!

The story setting is in around the mid 21st century, based on the technology available. The scientific reasoning behind the events is quite plausible. The special effects are very detailed and add to the tension in the story. The plot of the story has unexpected but credible twists and the conclusion is satisfying after a high degree of edge-of seat drama and action. The characters are well-developed and humour is used to good effect at moments between the fast moving action.

  • Engaging and entertaining, great effects.

Obviously a fantastical take about an extinct creature, ok storyline and great visuals, daresay "Meg2" might be a future offering, evenso I found film quite entertaining, with CGI on overtime....

  • a good improvement.

This film starring Jason Statham is a vastly different change from his bashem up movies, in fact it made a change ti see him do something else, a thoroughly watchable film

  • Naff

I love these types of movies, but this one is dreadful. Stathern swaps from English to Irish to Australian throughout the film - just pick one accent and stick to it! Maybe if the Meg had as much screen time as the naff characters in it it'd be better

  • Great film

Brilliant sy-fi film. Jason Statham at his best. How the hell he doesn't crap himself I don't know. I know I would. The acting by all the cast is absolutely amazing. The work that has gone in to making this film gives credit to everyone involved. The special effects are just as brilliant as the acting and directing. One of the best sy-fi films I've seen for a very long time. A must see for any sy-fi fan. Top marks for all concerned with the making and staring in the film.

  • The Meg review

A very gripping film to watch.Action packed with an interesting storyline Good start to the film it grabs the attention immediately and isn't too over the top.theres are few comedy moments thrown in and some sadness.thrilling in places with the giant shark(bigger than the great white).acting is done well too.
